San Francisco Engagement Photographer – Victoria & Kelly at Union Square, the Palace of Fine Arts, and Baker Beach

After e-mailing back and forth with her a little, I felt like I knew Victoria before I even met her – and I could hardly get over how cute she was when I finally did!  She and Kelly live in Singapore now, so we met up at the Westin St. Francis in Union Square where the two of them were staying to chat a little before we started their shoot.  Of Kelly, Victoria says simply “he is SO funny, you’ll see!”  And I did – he’s hilarious.  There were so many great shots of the two of them laughing together that it made it incredibly difficult to narrow it down.

It was a sunny day, but a cold one – since they’re only in town for a short time before flying back to Singapore though, we had to make it work.  We started at Union Square, ran back to the car and cranked up the heat, hopped out at the Palace of Fine Arts (where the two of them had one of their first real conversations when they met, which spanned hours and included just about every topic under the sun) and then jumped back into a toasty car to finish up at Baker Beach where we had a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge.  I love the ones of Kelly twirling Victoria around as she puts it, “like a rag doll”.  She says it with a laugh though, and you can tell she secretly loves it.  If this afternoon is any indication, these two should have a pretty incredible life together.

So happy to have finally met you, Victoria, and I wish you and Kelly all the best!  Can’t wait for your wedding in November!

  1. Wowsers. So much beauty. So much life. So much happiness. Great locations and light too, but they only accentuate the brilliant moments created. Sublime work.
