Griffith Park & Carousel Engagement: Emma & Michael

I met Emma and Michael while photographing a party at the Hollywood Roosevelt last November and my immediate reaction was “could these two be any cuter?”  So, I think you can imagine how excited I was when they got in touch with me about photographing their wedding.  We decided to do their engagement session at Griffith Park, working our way from the carousel, to the old zoo, to the Observatory.   Though they do a pretty good job of keeping up a steady stream of bickering about whether you call it “cotton candy” or “fairy floss”, they’re not fooling anyone:  These two are totally in love and it shows.

And just for old times’ sake, here is the shot I took of them together the night I met them.  I think you can see why I was charmed:

  1. Wish I could pick one great shot, but they’re all gorgeous! If I HAD to pick just one, the stone cave in black and white would be it! Lovely couple, lovely settings.
